NOTE
Author Gunilla Norris asked me to collaborate on Being Home, a modern book of hours. Her book is an eloquent celebration of the mindfulness at the very heart of prayer. The manuscript was nearly complete when I became involved. I responded to her meditations by taking photographs, but there were also instances when I took a photo and then Gunilla wrote a meditation. This project was deeply satisfying. We were fortunate when it found a great home with original publisher Toinette Lippe of Bell Tower, an imprint of Harmony Books. It is still available in paperback from Paulist Press.

ENDORSEMENTS
There is hardly a line in these instructions for praying through the day that does not alert the heart to the fathomless Mystery of everyday things and activities. Being Home radiates common sense—not in the conventional meaning of this phrase, but with all its over- and undertones. It is a masterpiece, a book that needs to be savored, a book to live with. And Greta Sibley’s photographs are domestic theophanies.—
